Anybody been watching this new series?

The high-concept sci-fi drama, based on author Robert J Sawyer’s revolutionary novel. When a mysterious event causes the entire world to black out, humanity is given a glimpse into the near future. Every man, woman and child is forced to decide whether their destinies can be avoided or fulfilled. The series is executive produced by David S Goyer (visionary co-writer of ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘The Dark Knight’) and Brannon Braga (‘24’, ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’).

The series stars British actors Joseph Fiennes (‘Shakespeare in Love’), Jack Davenport (‘This Life’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’), Dominic Monaghan (‘Lost’, ‘Lord of the Rings’) and Sonya Walger (‘Coupling’, ‘Sleeper Cell’). The all-star ensemble cast includes John Cho (‘Star Trek’, ‘American Pie’), and Courtney B Vance (‘Law & Order: CI’, ‘ER’). Tipped to be bigger than ‘Lost’ and ‘Heroes’ combined, the series pilot has already gone down a storm with critics in the US.

Thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 episodes. You can see how the incident will be the direct cause of the futures that most people experience. Very good, although I believe significantly different from the novel.

Also, the new Stargate Universe, on Sky 1 Tuesday, was excellent. Much darker and dingier than previous Stargate series...and similar to the concept of Star Trek: Voyager. Looks like being well worth it.

I don't watch much TV, so its nice to have a few shows to look forward to

Just hope Flash Forward doesn't drag on for 20 years like Lost did (so it seemed).....I gave up on that sh*te after about 6 episodes, the wife watched it for a couple of seasons then had to admit she didn't have a clue what was going on and gave up herself.

Also been watching "The Fixer"... rubbish, but funny as hell in a unintentional way

Lost , now that became ridiculous............

I'm in for the long haul with Lost, only 1 season to go....trouble is they have to show the last few episodes of the previous season before every new one, just to remind you what the hell is going on... I ...can't remember...
