grinon top of my ation man collection i also collect UK issue stamps and coins,my stamp collection dates from queen vic right up to modern day,my coins are pretty much the same mostly pre decimal but i do collect commorative issue coins or first day mints my passion being full crowns silver if i can get them , i have to admit ive let my collection slide a little since i started collection action man but i think ill dig it out and give it a dusting

Same here OB I used to collect all the first day covers and the postcards as well,but that was a long time ago I still have some and usually get ones that fit my collecting like the Harry Potter set and anything toy related,comedy and Christmas /coin and notes I just have a full set of the old coins and notes in a framed set , just love "thrupny" bitsgrin

the 1968 christmas set would most likely suit you if you havent already got it

Yep got that set framed and hanging on the wall by the bedroom door along with some of my other favourites, have to say I really like the link to the stamp website, its got a great layout and i like the way that you can enlarge each stamp by clicking on it , great detail

my favourite set is the 1966 Christmas issue that where painted by some school kids , really great nostalgia for me I was 11 years old then sheesh!!!! seems like yesterday

I never collected stamps,but my dad did.He had loads of albums full of every country going from when he was young.Then when he was a postman,they were always given first issue this and that,in about 30 or so in a book too.I know one or two of his old collection are worth a few bob,£40 here £50 there etc,but we would never sell them.
