Just something a bit more high-contrast.... I didn't mind the other colours, it's just blue on black isn't the easiest thing to read.
 
Please use the old layout, it's the only one that shows you the latest posts in the main page....

Is it possible to move the header over to the left, or make it bigger CJ ?

Is it just me or has this forum layout/colour changed? Been off it a couple of days and now I don't recognise it. Whatever it is it's much better to read.

Not too keen on this bright white back-ground....

What about the green on black that the VAME people use...or some other alternative upon the black background...

Have to agree with Ian and the others on this boss, this layout`s a bit cold and stark and minimal, not warm and welcoming like the orange and black, but I do like the VAME colours as well , and I also like those headers that Coloneljack designed , great style, could one of those or even a few be incorporated in the site

Yeah the mustard forum background's cool, and the greyscale post option too...are there any other alternatives?

Anything you like - they're all custom colours. Show me a colour or colour scheme you like.

Personally I like minty blues...verdant sages and basically pastel shades in general...

i liked it the way it was with the colour and the catogories on the front page,im a bit confused now.

I prefer the Black on White (or a light colour) background. At least I can Bloody read that. Please whatever you do, do not go back to a black background with dayglo colours. (I hate VAME's colour scheme).
 
I like coloneljacks example that's OK.
 
NOOOOOOOO Black background (or I'll leave ).

I do prefer this, but if there are other options that folks can recommend then it may well be worth checking them all out.

This has a better feel to it but just to throw a spanner in the works what are the other options and where can I see them
