In the very best tradition of "High Fidelity" (which isn't on my list simply because the character called 'Ian' is such a wet twat...) here is my current list.....will no doubt change by the time somebody mentions a film I've forgotten....oh fickle me....
1.   12 Angy Men.                http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050083/
2.    It's a Wonderful Life      http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0038650/
3.   The Big Lebowski           http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118715/
4.   Field of Dreams              http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097351/
5.   Touch of Evil                 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052311/

Can't do the hyper-text link thingy...

Anyway. What's yours.

Same here BM this was a hard list to compile , there are sooooooo many films to chose from, besides all the Bond films , Harry Potter , Alien trilogy, Lord of the Rings, and about 5000 others , I have 5/6 films I just couldnt live with out,
I couldnt decide of my top 5 which was first so these are in alphabetical order.

Blade Runner ....................................... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083658/
On the Beat / Norman Wisdom............. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056307/
Play It Again Sam / Woody Allen.......... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069097/
The Love Match / Arthur Askey............ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0179950/
The Odd Couple / Walter Matthau......... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063374/
The Point / Harry Nillson....................... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067595/

Really couldn`t decide which one to drop on the last 2 so they are tied for last so im afrad there are 6 in my list

As I mentioned it's not an easy business this one, just looking at those lists I'd have to through Schindlers, Shawshank and Blade Runner at mine and see which 5 out the 8 stuck...wonderful to have the options tho...
